Medical is the group of professions that are centered around keeping the crew fit and healthy. The professions that are included in the Medical profession block are:
- Chief Medical Officer as the Head of the Department.
- Medical Doctors who deal with the vast majority of injuries that crewmembers suffer.
- Virologists who deal with viral outbreaks.
- Geneticists who deal with the bodies of the deceased. Shared with the Research department.
- Chemists who mix medicines for medical use. Shared with the Research department.
- Paramedics retrieve and provide medical attention to crewmembers outside the Medbay.
- Psychologists who take care of the mental health of the crew.
