NT's operations span several offices in Sol, and its private holdings are in fringe sectors near the TSF's borders. NT's rise to power began with bribes for favorable policies, lobbying, political donations, and corporate espionage, aided by corrupt TSF agents. As humanity expanded across the stars, NT solidified its influence.

NT's significant growth occurred during the Soviet-TSF war. They capitalized on the conflict, executing economic takeovers in local planetary economies destabilized by the conflict, primarily plasma mining companies.
