What is an Autolathe?
An autolathe is a fabricator of tools and materials. It must be filled with a certain amount of metal or glass before being able to create these items, and it can also break down these items into glass and metal if needed.
To feed items into the autolathe, click on it with a creatable item.
You can construct an autolathe as described in the Guide to Advanced Construction.
It's parts can be upgraded to reduce the prices of items by half with every part level.
Items an Autolathe can create
Item | Required Materials | Item | Required Materials | Item | Required Materials |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Radio Headset |
Metal: 200 | Remote Signaling Device |
Metal: 400 Glass: 120 |
Station Bounced Radio |

Science Department can copy some designs to the autolathe with usage of design disks. Only items made out of metal and glass can be copied. To do so, first import design from RnD console to the disk, then insert it into an autolathe. |
In addition, Free Golems start with a Golem Creation Disk, that lets them create more of their kind. |
Hacking
In order to modify the Autolathe:
- Use a Screwdriver to expose the wiring.
- Hack using a Multitool or Wirecutters.
- Use a Screwdriver to hide the wires again when done.
Contraband
Unlocked by hacking autolathe production.
