Circuit Imprinter
This industrial printer requires glass, sulfuric acid, and occasionally gold and diamond. Each board requires different levels of data theory and materials research, and some require specific field advancement, such as biological or blue-space. With gold, you can make AI law modules, or AI related circuit boards. Machine boards can also be built in the Circuit Constructor, including mech suits and power generators.
Protolathe
A Protolathe is a machine used by the Research & Development (R&D)/Science Department to construct many different types of objects. This includes numerous different objects including tools, consumables, machine components and more. One can be found at R&D at the beginning of every round. Which items are available in the Protolathe is determined by the research level the Scientists have reached. The machine uses almost every type of material to construct objects. A list of objects the Protolathe can construct, as well as the material requirements, can be found below.

Exosuit Fabricator
Found in the robotics lab, the exosuit fabricator is used to make (almost) any part you could ever need to make mechs and cyborgs, and can make implants, power cells, and upgrades for all of your robotic needs. It takes in a variety of materials for different upgrades, and syncs with research levels for better equipment. The output direction defaults to south, though this can be changed by using a multitool on it while unwrenched.
Research Computers
Object | Location | Purpose | Description |
---|---|---|---|
AI System Integrity Restorer |
RD Office | Used to restore a dead AI. | Collect the dead AI with an IntelliCard, place it in the computer, activate the repair function and wait until its fully restored. |
Exosuit Control Console |
RD Office | Used for tracking and locking down exosuits (mechs). | The exosuits need to have a exosuit tracking beacon put into them for this console to see them. An EMP blast will destroy the tracking beacon. |
Mech Bay Power Control Console |
Mech Bay | Used for controlling the Mech Bay Recharge Station. | When you have an exosuit parked on the Mech Bay Recharge Station, this console will show the mechs integrity, available power and also starts charging it. |
Message Monitoring Console |

Monitor the crew's PDA messages. | You can see what messages are sent via PDA and delete them. It can also be used to view Request Console messages. |
R&D Consoles |
R&D, Robotics, E.X.P.E.R.I-MENTOR |
Used by to access nearby reserach machinery. | This console will access the Destructive Analyzer, Protolathe and Circuit Imprinter. You can see the current technology levels on the console, sync them to the database network as well as download technologies from the database. |
R&D Server Control |
Server Room | Sets access rights to R&D consoles. | Choose which consoles have access to upload and download known technologies from the database. Can reset known technologies and remove designs. |
Robotics Control Console |
RD Office | Used to access linked Cyborgs. | Sometimes you just need to remotely lockdown or detonate linked Cyborgs. |
Science Management Console |
RD Office | Manipulate ID cards. | It allows you to change properties of an ID Card, provided you are a Head of Staff. You can also open or close job slots. |
Slime Management Console |
Xenobiology | A computer used for remotely handling slimes. | Remotley pick up and drop slimes, drop monkeys or recycle dead ones, scan slimes and feed them potions. |
