Vulpkanin
The Vulpkanin (pronounced Vuhlp - can - ain) are a canine humanoid race that possess dog-like features. The Vulpkanin hail from Archiki Kosmo system, a solar system of 5 planets with 3 of them habitable, the home planet Archiki Kosmo is an arid planet with a 6 seasons, the home world is fairly open and contains very few industrialized cities, while the other two planets Archiki Kosmo Dyo and Archiki Kosmo Tria are covered in modern cities, rumours says that Tria is actually a planet ship, no evidence of this exists.

Mechanics
- Vulpkanin speaks Canilunzt, a language based on growls and body language, they speak rather with their body then with words, thus a non-Vulpkanin would be hard to understand due to the context that bodylanguage gives. use :7 to speak it.
- All Vulpkanin have claws, and will scratch with them instead of punching, dealing extra damage.
- Vulpkanin can see much better in the dark than humans.
- Vulpkanin are less vulnerable to harm from cold due to their fur, but more vulnerable to harm from heat.
- Vulpkanin cannot use human gloves or shoes due to their claws and digitigrade limbs. They are only able to wear hardsuits and hardsuit helmets designed/modified for their Tajaran anatomy. They are able to wear 'softsuits' (such as non-hardsuit space suits, biosuits, and fire suits).
- Vulpkanin are able to wear human gloves but a wirecutter must be used on them beforehand to make them fit on Tajaran hands

Naming
In order to communicate with multi-species crews better, most Tajaran have taken arabic first and last names to allow for better communication. Most Tajaran clans and given names tend to have a distinct east asian slant to them as to begin- Due to their facial anatomy, sharp lip-based mora tend to be less present.
Biology
The Vulpkaninare a species of omnivorous, bipedal mammals with features that strongly resemble Terran canine in structure. Their body is covered almost entirely with a thick fur coat, the only exceptions being the palms of their hands and the soles of their feet, directly around their various orifices, and their eyes. On many individuals the fur near their neck and head grows into a shaggy "mane", not unlike a lion or horse's mane, which is made of extremly fluffy hair, thus good hair care is important for an Vulpkanines hair to not fluff out too much as it speaks of excitement. Vulpkanin fur colors appears in every color. Vulpkanin males on average range between 145 cm and 210 cm in height and 35 kg to 140 kg in mass, while females on average range between 160 cm and 240 cm in height and 55 kg to 200 kg in mass.
The Vulpkanin have two fairly large and well-developed eyes set above a slightly elongated "muzzle". Their pupils are generally large, but can contract significantly faster than most other species. Vulpkanin teeth are sharp and needlelike in the front and slowly grow thicker towards the back. The closest analogous animal to their tooth structure would be a terran raccoon. On the top of their head Vulpkanin possess two large fluffy ears. Vulpkaninears have a wide range of motion, and moves much like a toungue can. Due to their large ears Vulpkanin have a extremly range of hearing compared to other crew species.
The Vulpkanin hands and feet both have five digits and are somewhat stubby and thick compared to human extremities. A set of claws originate from the third knuckle are always visible and are always visible oddly enough they are rather blunt, and is more used for better grip of things. Vulpkanin are digitigrade, and most equipment that interacts with the feet requires modification to fit. All Vulpkanin also possess a poffy flexible tail. This limb is like their ears and is capable of back wrenching motion
The Vulpkanin sleeping cycle is a form of Polyphasic Sleep, where they sleep fort short amounts several times a day, Vulpkanin are also able to store the regenerative effect of sleeping in case they need to stay up for a prolonged time, this effect is collected from over-sleeping.
The Vulpkanin body is generally puffy, fluffy, and extremely cuddly. They procreate like any other mammal. Internally they can vary in structure as there is a caste of sub-species within the Vulpkanin society, different caste has different organ structure, but overall their organs are almost human in nature while their DNA shares very little with Human DNA, Vulpkanin are very adaptable, thus can take human organ transplant without any negative effect.
All medical equipment aboard NanoTrasen vessels will be compatible with Vulpkanin biology with only minimal modifications.
Behaviour
Vulpkanin have a strong tendency towards loyalty and cooperation from living in what was overall a collectivist society. Younger Vulpkanin tend to be significantly more forward and expressive than older adults as the world and education have expanded for most Vulpkanin - The current generational gap in education and so forth is fairly enormous. Overall, however, they have been observed to have as wide an emotional range as humans, by extensive neurological investigation, although some reports from dubious sources state otherwise. Stimuli may vary compared to humans.
It is advisable for staff to make use of this mindset. It is said that a Vulpkanin friend is a friend made for life in many circles. While uniform is an important part of employee unity, Vulpkanin are authorised to forgo the need of shoes and gloves in most cases, due to physiological differences. Sandals and Fingerless gloves are also acceptable alternatives for Vulpkanin crewmembers. Many ear mounted items also prove difficult, for reasons that should not need explanation.
Tail accessories tend to be used by individuals within a relationship. Several sorts of ribbons bestowed by a significant other is considered as showing a status of being in a committed relationship, with marriage in Vulpkanin society primarily being reserved for legal bloodlines. Canilunzt is a fairly simple language oral wise, with body language creating the context. The language is highly evolved in regards to science, where Galactic Common appears primitive in comparison. It originates as a language that was made for three things, sex, food and danger.
Their alphabet is in the style of the Greek Alphabet, with 68 different letters, it has evolved along with the culture starting out with only 12 letters.Cyrillic/latin characters are the most common in use as a transcription of spoken Siik'tajr and Siik'mas, rather than the old Siik alphabet.
Background
The Vulpkanin is a species that has existed for over 500 000 years, starting out at Archiki Kosmo, and managed space travel within a thousand years, the population was low as the female usually had a harem of 8 to 30 males in the beginning, while polygamy is still allowed, a male with a harem of women has been a topic of controversy for thousands of years, after they landed on Archiki Kosmo Dyo, where monogami was practiced for an unknown amount of time, causing a great population growth, covering the world in large modern cities, there are no records available of when Archiki Kosmo Tria became habited. Vulpkanin as a species have always been friendly, but very self sufficient, their scientific knowledge appears to have few bounds, as they claim to have more evidence of what caused the universe to exist then any other species.
It was not until as recent as 150 years ago, that the Vulpkanin started to travel between galaxies, and started working for NanoTrasen.
Culture
The arts are held highly in Vulpkanin culture, with music being the most prominen. Older Archiki Kosmoare generally more accomplished in the multidimensional art, created as a combination of visual, audible and smellable combination, making the art unique for them, while the younger Archiki Kosmo tend to use classical painting of the past, using only visual indicators of the art.

Much like humans, Vulpkanin have various "sub-species" or a caste system, this system is not known.
Home Planet
Vulpkanin originates from Archiki Kosmoc, a grassy world with mountains, jungles, forests, a world for adventure, there are very few cities on this planet.
Current Day
Vulpkanin was quickly accepted due to their fluffy tails, and friendly disposition, they are somewhat loved, and are very helpfull, few knows about their origins and history due to them being new, and tend to not to brag, and are more interested in learning.
