History

A brief timeline of major events that greatly shaped current-day space affairs.

0-2000s: The history is the same as we know it, nothing special happens.

2000-2100: Nothing of importance happens during this time period, the Earth is more or less stable with it's countries staying in put and only a few being destroyed by proxy wars. As time reaches closer to the twenty-second century, radicalism, isolationism, and the divide between the West and East dissolves as everyone turns to a collective goal of Greater space travel and life.

Species

The major sentient species whom are commonly found within the ranks of NanoTrasen employees.

Humans	Your regular humans. Quite underwhelming.	Grey	Your stereotypical gray alien. Little is known about them
Tajaran	Cat-like aliens, hired by NanoTrasen. Try not to actually call them cat people.	Diona	Giant, lumbering tree-like beings. There are born through other species' blood.
Unathi	Hired by Nanotrasen, these cold-blooded employees have various reptilian qualities. However, the other companies have been heard of recruiting them as well.	Machine People	Advanced sentient robots who assist the crew.
Skrell	A race of gelatinous beings, who dedicate themselves to exploring the mind. Very technologically advanced.	Kidan	Insect beings with a tough, chitinous skin.
Slime People	Slime People are a race of gelatinous and translucent beings from the vast oceans of the tropical world Xarxis 5. They are recent entrants to the galactic scene, having only been discovered by an NT exploratory probe in 2471. Slime People, having only recently industrialized, operate in a primitive society that organizes itself in band and tribe structures.	Plasmamen	A species made of plasma who require special suits when working in non-plasma filled environments.
Vox	Birdlike beings. Vox who decided that peaceful station life is for them.	Vulpkanin	A more newly encountered species with characteristics similar to canines or foxes.

Space consistent of ominous energies that are alive and sentient, inherently more dangerous than it's latter counterpart.

Experiments from unknown origin that have lead to fish that adapted to literally swim in space; quite vicious like a Piranha.
