Station Traits are modifiers applied to the current round which modify the game environment in some significant or meaningful way. These traits can change the starting conditions of the round including where players spawn, current character effects at round-start, and how much of certain resources are available. Other traits may add special behavior to deaths, minor adjustments to certain roles, and changes in frequency of random events. These traits are randomly decided before the round is loaded in but may be forced by Game Admins.

Deathrattled Department | "All members of [department_name] have received an implant to notify each other if one of them dies. This should help improve job-safety!" The specified department gets deathrattle bio-chips, which alert all department staff when one dies. |
Deathrattled Station | "All members of the station have received an implant to notify each other if one of them dies. This should help improve job-safety!" All crew gets deathrattle bio-chips, which alerts the crew when one dies. |
Filled Up Maintenance | "Our workers accidentally forgot more of their personal belongings in the maintenance areas." Maintenance is filled with more Maintenance Loot. |
Galactic Grant | "Your station has been selected for a special grant. Some extra funds has been made available to your cargo department." The cargo department's bank account starts with additional cash. |
Premium Internals Boxes | "The internals boxes for your crew have been upsized and filled with bonus equipment." Internals boxes have better tanks, injectors, and lights. |
Quick Shuttle | "Due to proximity to our supply station, the cargo shuttle will have a quicker flight time to your cargo department." The cargo shuttle leaves and returns 50% faster. |
Strong Supply Lines | "Prices are low in this system, BUY BUY BUY!" Everything purchasable from cargo is 20% cheaper. |

Late Arrivals | "Sorry for that, we didn't expect to fly into that vomiting goose while bringing you to your new station." Everyone spawns at the latejoin spawn roundstart. |
PDA Glitch | "Something seems to be wrong with the PDAs issued to you all this shift. Nothing too bad though." All PDA's have a different ringtone. |
Tranquilite Shipment | "Shipping records show an unmarked crate being delivered to your station's mime." The Mime spawns with Tranquillite. |
Unique AI | "For experimental purposes, this station AI might show divergence from default lawset. Do not meddle with this experiment, we've removed access to your set of alternative upload modules because we know you're already thinking about meddling with this experiment." The AI gets a different lawset from a list, and all AI module boards get removed from the station. |

Carp Infestation | "Dangerous fauna is present in the area of this station." Many space carp spawn around the station soon after roundstart. |
Cleaned Out Maintenance | "Our workers cleaned out most of the junk in the maintenace areas." Most Maintenance Loot is removed. |
Distant Supply Lines | "Due to the distance to our normal supply lines, cargo orders are more expensive." Everything purchasable from cargo is 20% more expensive. |
Ionic Stormfront | "An ionic stormfront is passing over your station's system. Expect an increased likelihood of ion storms afflicting your station's silicon units." Ion Storms are more common. |
Messy Station | "The previous crew has left the station completely trashed." Many messes are created around the station. |
Meteor Swarm | "Meteors are passing through the stations space. Expect an increased likelihood of meteor storms damaging the station hull." Meteor Showers are more damaging and more common. |
Radiation Stormfront | "A radioactive stormfront is passing through your station's system. Expect an increased likelihood of radiation storms passing over your station, as well the potential for multiple radiation storms to occur during your shift." Radiation Storms can happen multiple times, and are more common. |
Slow Shuttle | "Due to distance to our supply station, the cargo shuttle will have a slower flight time to your cargo department." The cargo shuttle leaves and returns 50% slower. |
