Energy Weapons

Weapons in this catagory usually deal Stamina, Stun, Ion, or Burn damage and require a weapon recharger to recharge.

Standard Nanotrasen Energy Based Weapons
Disabler

Deals 30 Stamina damage
A disabler capable of shooting long-ranged disabler bolts that deal stamina damage. Available in the Secure Armory or in Supply Crates Practice Laser Gun

A practice variant of the traditional laser gun. Fires harmless beams of light. Available in the Firing Range DL-88 Energy Revolver

Variable
A "modern" take on the classic revolver. Issued to the Detective and comes with a
Regular
The regular mode lasers do 5 burn, 25 stamina, and 5 seconds of eyeblur.

Overcharged
The overcharged mode does 45 burn, 15 stamina, 10 eyeblur. In order to overcharge the revolver, it requires modifying the gun with a multitool for 10 seconds, energy costs are double and there is a chance (which becomes more likely the less charge you have left) of the overloaded gun detonating in your hand, dealing 60 burn to your hand, dropping the gun, and giving you eyeblur for 10 seconds.

Tracker Mode
The tracking mode, upon being hit by the tracker projectile, this the gun begins tracking the target through a linked pinpointer. The tracking ability only lasts for 1 minute
. When the gun is in overcharged mode, no other firing mode can be selected until it is un-modified.

Advanced Energy Gun

Deals 30 Stamina/20 Burn damage
A self-recharging laser weapon powered by a miniaturized uranium reactor. The firing mode can be toggled between disablers and lethals. Only available through the Protolathe X-01 MultiPhase Energy Gun

Deals 30 Stamina/20 Burn/Weak Ion damage
This is a recreated version of the aging Antique Laser Gun used by the Head of Security. Unlike its original version, this version has three firing modes (disable, ion, kill) at the cost of its ability to recharge passively Antique Laser Gun

A modified laser gun, shooting highly concentrated beams with higher intensity that ignites the target, for the cost of draining more power per shot. Available in the Protolathe Multi Lens Immolator Cannon

Deals 45 Burn/48 Burn damage
A large laser cannon, similar to the Immolator Laser, with toggleable firemodes. It is frequently used by military-like forces through Nanotrasen. Found in Gamma Armory and Security Gamma ERT
Xray Laser Gun

Deals 15 Burn damage
A high-power laser gun capable of expelling concentrated xray blasts. These blasts will penetrate solid objects, but will decrease in power the longer they have to travel. Available in the Protolathe Accelerator Laser Cannon

Deals 6 burn damage
An advanced laser cannon that does more damage the farther away the target is. Available in the Protolathe

Temperature Gun

Variable
A gun capable of shooting targets with beams of varying temperatures. The coldest beam will significantly slow down a carbon mob. Emagging the gun removes the heat cap, making it more deadly. Available in the Protolathe
Plasma Pistol

Deals 12.5 burn damage
A specialized firearm designed to fire heated bolts of plasma. Can be charged up for a shield breaking shot. Available in the Protolathe
Additional information:
* User must use the weapon in hand to overcharge it.
* Uses much more charge for an overcharged shot, drains battery slowly when charged.
* Overcharged shot deals 45 damage with 10 AP (energy), will break shields with ease, and can not be reflected with them (this does not count for energy swords (the energy sword will block it but not reflect the projectile) and carp fu). Examples of breakable shields are energy shields, shielded MODsuits, or mirror shields.
* If the gun is overcharged and holstered, dropped, or if the user switches hands, the gun will misfire, either spewing plasma, or firing randomly.
LWAP Laser Sniper

Deals 10 burn damage
A highly advanced laser sniper that does more damage the farther away the target is, but fires slowly. Comes with a super advanced scope, which can highlight threats through walls. Available in the Protolathe
+5 damage per tile to a max of 100
Arc Revolver

Deals 10 Burn Damage
When fired, puts an arc emitter in the thing that is hit. This arc emitter will link with other arc emitters from the same gun, to arc between them. Available in the Protolathe
Ion Rifle

Deals Strong Ion damage
A specialized rifle that fires ion bolts which are capable of disrupting and interfering with electronic devices. Damage is applied across all parts/components. Found in secure Armory or in Supply Crates Ion Carbine

Deals Strong Ion damage
A shorter version of the Ion Rifle, the Ion Carbine is nearly identical, but can be stored in backpacks. Produced in the Protolathe and is in the Gamma Armory WT-450 Disabler SMG

Deals 15 Stamina damage
An SMG capable of shooting a burst of long-ranged disabler bolts that deal stamina damage. Available in Supply Crates
SPRK-12 Pistol

Deals 12.5 Burn damage
A specialized energy pistol that fires balls of energy which disippate into sparks after a short range. Due to it's coils, it gains charge instead of losing it from EMPs, while also providing better accuracy while dual wielded due to it's improved grip. Available in the Protolathe
