Station Traits are modifiers applied to the current round which modify the game environment in some significant or meaningful way. These traits can change the starting conditions of the round including where players spawn, current character effects at round-start, and how much of certain resources are available. Other traits may add special behavior to deaths, minor adjustments to certain roles, and changes in frequency of random events. These traits are randomly decided before the round is loaded in but may be forced by Game Admins.
Traits
Positive
- Cybernetic Revolution - "The new trends in cybernetics have come to the station! Everyone has some form of cybernetic implant." All crewmembers get a cybernetic organ or implant, depending on their job. Additionally, this makes EMP items more expensive for Traitors, but allows them to purchase Autosurgeons and ion rifles no longer spawn.
- Deathrattled department - "All members of [department_name] have received an implant to notify each other if one of them dies. This should help improve job-safety!" All members of a random department spawn in with a deathrattle implant that transmits a sound and a message when someone with the same implant dies, along with the location of their death.

All crewmembers spawn in with a deathrattle implant that transmits a sound and a message when someone with the same implant dies, along with the location of their death.
- Filled up maintenance - "Our workers accidentally forgot more of their personal belongings in the maintenance areas." Maintenance spawns with more loot for assistants to sift through.
- Galactic Grant - "Your station has been selected for a special grant. Some extra funds has been made available to your cargo department." The starting cargo budget is increased by between 2000 to 4000 credits.
- Premium Internals Boxes - "The internals boxes for your crew have been upsized and filled with bonus equipment." Equipment inside crew's internal boxes gets replaced with a survival medipen, a flare, and a bigger oxygen tank.
- Strong Supply Lines - "Prices are low in this system, BUY BUY BUY!" Crates ordered via cargo are 20% cheaper.
- Quick Shuttle - "Due to proximity to our supply station, the cargo shuttle will have a quicker flight time to your cargo department." The time that it takes for the cargo shuttle to head to Centcom and back is halved.
Neutral
- Bananium Shipment - "An unidentified benefactor has dispatched a mysterious shipment to your station's clown. It was reported to smell faintly of bananas." The clown starts with fifty sheets of Bananium.
- Hangover - "Ohh....Man....That mandatory office party from last shift...God that was awesome..I woke up in some random toilet 3 sectors away..." At roundstart, instead of the crew spawning in at their departments, they spawn in at random locations scattered throughout the station, whilst also being hungover. Produces post=party messes around the station consisting of vomit, broken bottles and confetti.
- Late Arrivals - "Sorry for that, we didn't expect to fly into that vomiting goose while bringing you to your new station." At roundstart, instead of the crew spawning in at their departments, they all start at arrivals and have to head towards their workplaces.
- PDA Glitch - "Something seems to be wrong with the PDAs issued to you all this shift. Nothing too bad though." The crew's PDA beeps differently. For example, the captain's PDA might honk instead of ping.
- Unique AI - "For experimental purposes, this station AI might show divergence from default lawset. Do not meddle with this experiment, we've removed access to your set of alternative upload modules because we know you're already thinking about meddling with this experiment." The station AI, rather than starting with the standard Crewsimov or Corporate lawset, receives another unique core lawset.
- Tranquilite Shipment - "Shipping records show an unmarked crate being delivered to your station's mime." The mime starts with fifty sheets of Tranquilite.
Negative
- Anomaly Storm - "The station has moved into unstable space. Expect an increased likelihood of anomalies running rampant on the station."
- Carp Infestation - "Dangerous fauna is present in the area of this station." Carp random events start earlier and are more frequent.
- Cleaned out maintenance - "Our workers cleaned out most of the junk in the maintenace areas." Maintenance spawns with less loot for assistants to sift through.
- Distant Supply Lines - "Due to the distance to our normal supply lines, cargo orders are more expensive." Crates ordered via cargo are 20% more expensive.
- Ionic Stormfront - "An ionic stormfront is passing over your station's system. Expect an increased likelihood of ion storms afflicting your station's silicon units." Ion storm events start earlier and are more frequent.
- Meteor Swarm - "Meteors are passing through the stations space. Expect an increased likelyhood of meteor storms damaging the station hull." Meteor shower events start earlier and are more frequent.
- Radiation Stormfront - "A radioactive stormfront is passing through your station's system. Expect an increased likelihood of radiation storms passing over your station, as well the potential for multiple radiation storms to occur during your shift." Radiation storm events start earlier and are more frequent.
- Slow Shuttle - "Due to distance to our supply station, the cargo shuttle will have a slower flight time to your cargo department." The time that it takes for the cargo shuttle to head to Centcom and back is increased by 50%.
- Messy Station - "The previous crew has left the station completely trashed." The station starts with randomly generated messes.
