The Nionic Trade League or NTL is the major Nian galactic superpower within the Orion Sector. Operating under an Oligarchy and calling themselves merchants, they work to form the economic backbone of their USSP allies, and fund their own internal species strife throughout their system holdings. They are the only Nian group to operate both planet side and space with a stable system in place for any citizen under their guilds.

==Summary==
Before the rise of the NTL, the Nian were a divided species that formed faction and governmental bodies across The Gloom. The nations within the Gloom would constantly wage war due to territory claims of the planets temperate zones. These landgrabs were necessary to continue growth, as light and dark worlds of Dom were inhabitable without expensive and rare technologies. With the placement of the G̃ỗntꝋ River running throughout the Gloom, many fought for the control of the important water source, due to drinkable water and better travel. After the discovery of Ỹḛr̃ṑ continent, landgrabs to seize it would trigger a war that eventually dragged every nation into the conflict. This war would last 20 Sol years and completely devastate the species population and its infrastructure, leading to the dark age of the Nian's.

A decade later, the rise of a merchant guild under the name Merchants of the Holy Sun would unite the remnants of surviving Nian nations to form together and avoid another major war. While the talks at first were difficult to sustain, many of the ancient leaders who had once ruled their nations perished from the war. And with these power vacuums left the surviving Nian's scared and traumatized by war which would make it easy to manipulate their decision in forming the United Sun Clans. While the intentions to form the Clans were important to fixing a broken state of the world, it also served as the easiest way to manipulate and control the Nian's by simply controlling their leaders, and the supplies which the Merchants would monopolize.

The Nionic Trade League or NTL is the major Nian superpower within the Orion Sector. Operating under an oligarchy of merchant guilds, they work to form the economic backbone of their USSP allies, and fund their own internal species economy throughout their system holdings. They are the only major Nian group to operate both planet side and space with a galactic presence throughout the sector.

Summary

Before the rise of the NTL, the Nian were a divided species that formed faction and governmental bodies across The Gloom. The nations within would constantly wage war due to territory claims of the planets temperate zones. These landgrabs were necessary to continue growth, as light and dark worlds of Dom were inhabitable without expensive and rare technologies. With the placement of the G̃ỗntꝋ River running throughout the Gloom, many fought for control of the important water source. After the discovery of Ỹḛr̃ṑ continent, landgrabs to seize it would trigger a war that eventually dragged every nation into the conflict. This war would last 20 Sol years and completely devastate the species population and its infrastructure, leading to the dark age of the Nian species.

A decade later, the rise of a merchant guild under the name Merchants of the Holy Sun would unite the remnants of surviving Nian nations to form together and avoid another major war. While the talks of peace were difficult to sustain, many of the original leaders who had once ruled their nations perished from the war. And with these power vacuums left the surviving Nian's scared and traumatized by war which would make it easy to manipulate their decision in forming the United Sun Clans. These clans allowed the Nian's to leave the dark age behind and unify under a singular banner to work together towards prosperity. While the intentions to form the Clans were important to fixing a broken state of the world, it also served as the easiest way to manipulate and control the Nian's by simply controlling their leaders, and the supplies which the Merchants would monopolize.

The disbandment of the USC would lead to the new formation of the Nionic Trade League. A federation of merchant guilds that would replace the old leaders of the USC thanks to generations of propaganda and influence of their merchants. This unification would be cemented with the first generation of space travel within the Garden System, and eventual space age of Nian's across Dom. The NTL dominate all sectors of Nian majority space as they have formed an oligarchy in their systems. These Oligarchy's all operate under a league of merchants, that control the supply and demand of the Nian within.
