October 9, 2045: The People's Republic of China launches a massive assault on Taiwan, igniting a global conflict involving the United States and its allies.
2046-2060: Post-war economic crises and civil unrest follow the collapse of China and Russia. Secret meetings among military leaders from the United States and allies lead to the formation of a plan for global stability.
July 14, 2080: Operation Silver Throne is executed, resulting in military forces seizing control in various nations and the establishment of the Solar Federation (SF).
2081-2100: The Solar Federation expands human colonization efforts within the solar system, focusing on Luna, Mars, Mercury, and Pluto. Nanotrasen begins its ascent during this period.
22nd Century
2101: Discovery of Plasma on Mars by Nanotrasen, revolutionizing energy and FTL travel and sparking a new era of interstellar expansion.
2105: First contact with the Skrellian Central Authority in the Cyjana system, leading to the Solar-Central Compact and significant interspecies cooperation.
2130-2150: The TSF experiences a golden age of prosperity, but underlying issues of corporate power abuses and undermanned garrisons begin to surface.
2154: The First Kidan War erupts without warning, devastating numerous outer colonies. The war concludes with a nuclear strike on the Kidan homeworld.
2155-2159: In the aftermath of the First Kidan War, the TSF struggles financially, leading to increased taxation and the controversial sale of assets, many to Nanotrasen.
2160: The Cygni Revolt, fueled by increased taxation and corporate abuses, leads to a brutal conflict and the eventual establishment of the USSP.
2161-2199: Post-Cygni, Nanotrasen emerges as a dominant corporate power, exploiting the TSF's financial crisis to acquire significant assets.
2248: The TSF undergoes a constitutional convention, significantly increasing military and FAID authority. The civilian government's influence is greatly diminished.
2201-2XXX: The Federation continues its expansion, integrating new species and facing challenges from Nanotrasen, the USSP, and remnants of the Kidan empire.
