'''This page is a more comprehensive list of all objects that can be interacted with in some way with the syndicate E-Mag(cryptographic sequencer) and the result of using it on them.'''
{{JobAntag}}
The Cryptographic Sequencer, better known as the '''EMAG''', is a advanced [[Syndicate]] hacking device. By swiping it on various objects you can override locks, force doors open, and cause chaos within the circuitry of machines. Emagging somthing often permanently renders it unusable or broken until a [[Station Engineer]] arrives to replace the board. Some other items will reset back to normal after a certain amount of time and other items will simply explode.

==Emaggable Objects==
Many objects across the station have certain reactions from being emagged that aren't extraordinarily obvious! This lists purpose is to reveal every reaction that can be had from emagging an object.

Antagonist

The Cryptographic Sequencer, better known as the EMAG, is a advanced Syndicate hacking device. By swiping it on various objects you can override locks, force doors open, and cause chaos within the circuitry of machines. Emagging somthing often permanently renders it unusable or broken until a Station Engineer arrives to replace the board. Some other items will reset back to normal after a certain amount of time and other items will simply explode.

Emaggable Objects

Many objects across the station have certain reactions from being emagged that aren't extraordinarily obvious! This lists purpose is to reveal every reaction that can be had from emagging an object.

Machines

Item Description
Airlock
Airlock Emagged.gif
Opens the door, but leaves it unable to be closed until repaired. Warning: Emagging a bolted airlock will cause it to stay bolted shut.
APC
APC.png
Allows you to interact the APC interface without the required ID, but the APC's screen turns blue as if it were hacked by a malfunctioning AI. IPCs attempting to charge from it will get shocked.
Air Alarm
AirAlarm.png
Disables the lock and safeties, allowing you to open the interface with any ID. Additionally unlocks the 'flood' setting under 'modes', which shuts off scrubbers and increases vent output without any pressure check.
Arcade Machines/Claw Game
Arcademachine.png
Makes games more difficult and dangerous, causing certain events that happen in the arcade game to manifest themselves outside of it in some way. Boss related arcade games will be renamed to 'Outbomb Cuban Pete', The Orion Trail will enable 'Realism Mode', NT Recruiter will enable 'Hardcore Mode', and the Claw Game all flavours upon luck. In addition, beating these games will give unique rewards, such as a reskinned minibomb for beating Orion Trail's realism mode.
Slot machine
Slotmachine.png
Each pull stuns, anchors, unbuckles, and spins the user. After being spun the user is then thrown away from the slot machine. There is also a 1 in 100% chance that the machine will spit out 100 credits and then reset from being emagged.
Bar Sign
Syndicatebarsign.png
Changes the bar sign outside the bar to a syndicate one.
Deep Fryer
Fryer.png
Disables the fryer's safeties, allowing non-food objects to be deep fried.
Deployable Barrier
Deployable Barrier.png
Stops any ID cards, authorised or not, from being able to toggle the barrier off (and therefore move it). Must be repaired before it can be switched off and moved again. Can be repaired by a single tap from a wrench.
Display Case
Display Case.png
Unlocks the display case, setting off the alarm in the process.
Emitter
Emitter.png
Turn on/off locked emitters without the need for a valid ID.
Long Range Fax Machine
Faxmachine.gif
Realigns transmitters to the Syndicate, allowing anyone to message the Syndicate with a fax.
Fire Alarm
FireAlarm.png
Disables the fire alarm's thermal sensors, stopping it from reacting to a fire. When emagged it will activate its alarm.
Firelock
Firelock.png
Opens the firelock as if it's being pried open with a crowbar.
Turret
Turret.PNG
Emagging turrets will automatically set their guns to lethal regardless if it's non-lethal or not. This will cause them to shoot at anyone who dares to be in the turret's sight.
Mass Driver
Mass Driver.gif
Launches items and people at a much greater force.
MULEbot
Mulebot.png
Unlocks and relocks the Mulebot's controls.
PACMAN Portable Generator
Pacman generators.gif
If emagged the temp cap is increased by 2.5 times. Setting it to a high temp may cause the pacman to explode.
Photocopier
Photocopier.png
Overloads the laser printing mechanism. Causes burn damage and screaming to anyone who dares to print their posterior on it.
Pool Controller
Poolcontroller.png
Disables the temperature safeguards, allowing for the temperature settings 'frigid' and 'scalding' to become available.
Secure Safe
Secure safe.png
Shorts out and unlocks the lock on the safe. Like an airlock, this will be permanently unlocked and is obviously emagged.
Vending Machine
Vendcola.gif
Vend items you wouldn't normally have the ability to because of space regulations.
ID Locked Vending Machine
Vendcola.gif
Breaks the Vending Machines Lock
Bluespace Harvester
Bluespace Harvester.gif
When emagged anomalies no longer cause the emergency shutdown sequence, also increases chance of anomaly occurring.
Cloning Pod
Clone.gif
Causes the cloning pod to emergency eject, with disastrous results for the person getting cloned.
Ticket Machine
Ticket machine.png
Randomizes current ticket number and lights all dispensed tickets on fire.
Meteor Shield Satellite
Shield Satellite.png
Increases chance of meteor showers.
Recycler
Recycler.gif
Overrides the safety and allows for the machine to recycle crew members. It instakills anyone unfortunate enough to slide in.
Windoor

Silicons

Item Description
Cyborgs
Cyborg.png
Allows the user to enslave a cyborg to them, giving it laws that make it loyal to the user who emagged them. You can do this by emagging open its cover lock, crowbarring the cover open, and then using the emag on the cyborg again. Cyborgs will also gain additional items and functions when emagged, depending on their type:

Medical – 250 units of a fluorosulphuric acid (polyacid) spray. The cyborg's defib and handheld defib are also emagged, causing them to function as stuns when used on the harm intent. The cyborgs hugging module also gets a crushing mode.
    Engineering – a stun.
Janitorial – 250 units of space lube spray.
Service – ‘Mickey Finn's Special Brew’, a lethal poison.
    Mining – a stun.

All cyborgs, when emagged, get Zipties.

Robots
Robots.gif
Allows the user to enslave a cyborg by emagging open its cover lock. You then need to screwdriver it open and emag it again to override its safeties. WARNING: Emagging robots doesn't make you their master and will attack you as well! (With the exception of the maintenance drone) Robots will also gain additional functions, when emagged, depending on their type:

Cleanbot – will wet floors randomly and spawn cleaning foam, slipping people over.
Floorbot – will tear up floors, causing breaches to space.
Medbot – will inject people with harmful or annoying chemicals.
E-N – will shoot laser beams out of their eyes for a minute or less then explode.
Beepsky/Securatron – will unlock its controls, and disable its safeties, causing it to arrest everyone it sees.
ED-209 – fires lasers at anyone unfortunate enough to get in its way. If in melee range, stuns and cuffs its target.
General Griefsky - His swords turn an ANGRY RED color
Ripley
Ripley.png
Allows you to add military weapons to a Ripley. It will also display the message 'The mech's equipment slots spark dangerously!' in bold, red text to anyone that examines the Ripley, so don't count on stealth too much.
Spiderbot
