You are a merchant employed by the Trans-Solar Federation, sent on a trading mission to the station. As a "Sol Trader", your goal is to trade the items that start on your freighter to the crew, typically in exchange for a large supply of credits, plasma, etc. These items being sold may or may not be legal, so make sure to remind the crew that you are not legally responsible for any crimes committed using the products you sold.

Their inventory can vary in legality in whichever sector they choose to sell their goods in, so crew are recommended to acquire legal carry permits before purchase. Typically accepted currencies by the Traders are plasma ore and credits.

You and your partner will spawn at Jupiter Station, a small area containing a bathroom (with mirror for hairstyle changes), meeting room, cryopods (Should you wish to ghost after you finish trading) and the shuttle dock for your Freighter.
The Art of the Deal
You find yourself being a Trader and along with your partner decide to start selling as fast as possible. Hold on for now, as you should probably think of a few things before venturing on your journey of business and sales.

The freighter itself comes fully stocked with all of the merchandise pre-loaded. A console on both Jupiter Station and the freighter can be used to send the ship to and from the station. Two side rooms are present for trading of merchandise and credits, with buttons to control access to prevent theft. If there's trouble, privacy shutters and flashers can be used to quell the Black Friday shoppers.
* Price your items fairly. Your stock does not come pre-priced, so you both must do it yourselves. For this, you are each provided a hand labeler and two refills in your backpacks.
* Make up a business strategy. You don't have to just follow the goal and get the greentext. Traders get a lot of freedom to sell their items in whichever way they want, apart from obvious antagonism. Make a neat slogan! Advertise your items on the radio! Buy two, get one for free! The only limit is your imagination.

The Goods
Handbook to Black Friday Shopping
Traders have come into town to bless your station with items of varying legality! This doesn't mean all you can do is buy the biggest, most illegal thing in the whole sector and parade around with it waiting to be arrested.

The freighter comes loaded with almost everything anyone may want. As the trader, it's up to you what price you want to put on the merchandise. Just remember that you have a quota to meet. As tempting as it may be to use these items for yourself, it's your job to sell them, and you may get in trouble with your boss (Admins) if you use the merchandise maliciously.
* Get a permit. It's not hard to arrest a man with a gun, but it is hard to arrest a man with a gun who has a permit for it. Ask the Head of Security or the Captain and they should be eager to write one up.
The items that you start with vary greatly, including, but not limited to;
* Use your spare credits wisely. You bought everything you want, yet still have spare cash on hand? Who knows, maybe you could strike a deal yourself! Bargaining either with the Traders or the crew might let you get out with more two items for the price of one.
* Sheets of metals and materials, such as titanium and bananium.
* A variety of Foam Force (and DonkSoft) weapons.
* Clothing such as combat gloves and tool belts.
* Scientific research notes that can be deconstructed for research levels.
* Mech equipment.
* Medical tools like auto-implants and incision management tools.
* Combat gear such as guns and armour.
* Random pills and chemical packs.
* Fleshy masses. (Abductor Organs)
* Equipment ranging bags of holding to jackhammers.
* Drivable Vehicles(may or may not require key).
* The Radiant Dance Machine Mark IV
